A little background: Sing: A Vocal Explosion was released in the Fall of 2003, at the 1st annual SoJam a cappella festival.
The album showcases many of the best Professional and Collegiate a cappella groups from across the Southeastern United States, ranging from Washington, DC to Orlando, FL. With a broad mix of covers and originals, including tracks from Da Vinci's Notebook, Blue Jupiter and even a four and a half minute vocal percussion solo, the compilation was well received within the a cappella community, and was chosen as a RARB Pick of '04. No matter your musical tastes (so long as they were a cappella), Sing offers something for everyone. |
